The Outbreak of COVID-19 and its Manifold Socio-psychological Implications: A Case Study of District Khyber, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan

After the outbreak of COVID-19 and subsequent suspension trade, closure international borders restrictions on movement quarantines, economic social crisis — coupled with psychological distress fomented worldwide. The pandemic has caused unprecedented educational, social, economic, political impacts varying implications around globe. current study was conducted to guage asses socio-psychological in District Khyber, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Primary data collected for from 200 participants through face interviews. analyzied under “Thematic Content Analysis”. findings shows that disease distancing have put at stake cohesion normaldom. In wake disease, domestic abuse, aggression violence increased making women prey predators’ anger, abuse battering; religious events suffered or disruption; schools’ had profound negative children’s conduct; deteriorating situation swelling poverty masses lead a hike crimes’ rate; transgender community plight; women’s regular health care services such as contraceptions, safe abortions other maternity ailments notably; schools set off hazardous girls harassment, rape, teen-age pregnancy sexually transmitted diseases. Resultantly, people area been suffereing acute trauma, videlicit boredom, fear, anxiety, frustration, insomnia enticing them towards unhealthy activities viz. use sedatives, smoking, alcohol usage, and, above all, internet online unethics. recommendations should be implemented help avoid downright besides, government devise mechanism combat pandemic.
